Building Renovation Plans

The plans we are drafting up for the 7117 Church Avenue space have many parts, which we will explain in detail below.

The Front Exterior

We plan to clean up the outside of this building and give it a face lift by updating the windows, scraping and painting the exterior, repairing the masonry, and if needed, putting on a new roof.

The Interior Basement

We plan to completely renovate the inside of this building. We will dry lock and finish the basement to house 6 rooms: percussion, strings, brass, woodwind and 2 voice. This would include updating the electrical service and wiring, building soundproof walls for instrument study, opening/winding the staircase, and installing a new emergency exit.

The Interior Main Floor

We plan on installing new drywall and new flooring, building 2 lesson room bump outs, which will be used for piano rooms, as well as a storage closet and having a 1400 square foot room for Choir, Bell Choirs, Mommy and Me, and other ensembles.

The Exterior Back

Behind the building is a small lawn. In time, we intend to have this lawn paved to add a small parking lot for our patrons and staff.

HVAC Update

We plan to upgrade the furnace and cooling system to be more efficient.
